Winona operates four state-of-the-art powder coating lines designed to coat most substrates, including cold-rolled steel, hot-rolled steel, iron, and aluminum. For the harshest environments, an E-coat primer paired with a powder-coated topcoat provides the ultimate protection from corrosion. The strengths of both technologies combine to deliver the best corrosion protection from even the harshest environments.

The E-coat protects the entire surface of the part, while the powder topcoat adds a durable exterior finish. If the powder is chipped or scratched, the E-coat underneath continues to protect the metal from rust and chemical corrosion. This system is well suited to fabricated parts used outdoors, in wet or salty conditions, in chemical exposure, or in rugged jobsite and industrial service.
